Foundation Skills Courses
Athletes wishing to expand their skills from single discipline pursuits to multisport events have the opportunity to learn new skills through Domestique Fitness’ suite of foundation skills courses
When learning a new skill, it is essential that correct technique is taught, understood and adopted from Day 1. As a result, all Domestique Fitness’ Foundation Skills courses are conducted one-on-one and involve 2 x 1-hour sessions
Depending on the needs of the athlete, foundation skill courses are delivered by Domestique Fitness in Sydney’s eastern suburbs
Course Format
Courses are delivered through two separate one-hour sessions as arranged between you and your personal coach. All sessions are tailored to your learning pace and follow a format of demonstration-explanation-practice.
Demonstration
Complete skill is demonstrated in real time.
Explanation
Skills are broken into their core components and taught step by step.
Practice
Skills are practised under close supervision to ensure correct technique is established.
